The best of the action from the tournament's opening game in Moscow as Russia and Saudi Arabia both seek to overcome a troubled build-up and poor recent World Cup history. Hosts Russia have not progressed beyond the group stage since the break-up of the Soviet Union in 1991 and they went into this World Cup as one of the lowest-ranked sides. Opponents Saudi Arabia have qualified for the first time in 12 years but their optimism has since been punctured by the resignation of coach Bert van Marwijk over a contract dispute and a subsequent lack of form. Presented by Dan Walker, with commentary from Guy Mowbray and Jermaine Jenas.
